2023 already?

Amazing isn’t it? 2023 has started, and we are 1/12th of the way through it.

Yvonne and I are sitting at the shop today (Australia Day) doing a bit more for our retreat in April at Bonville, near Coffs Harbour. Of course, we are also doing some playing to create exciting things for classes and kits for everyone.

The last week of December didn’t really feel like Christmas, that is until the local grandkids got going, that was AWESOME! Then we had the Darwin family for a week, so we felt so loved, as well as tired and lonely when they went back!

Creative kids vouchers, as well as Back to School vouchers are available from Service NSW for our NSW people who can get into the shop, if you have friends or family with school-age kids let them know we can provide art and craft classes and products.

The New Year …..

G’day, everyone, I have been a bit slack with updating the blogs on here, so as Yvonne and I have a bit of downtime, helping our daughter move to Darwin I thought I would update our Blog, so grab a cuppa and sit back and read!

Studio 73 has released a fantastic range (as always!) and as Yvonne is having a Nanna nap with young Henry, the red head!, I have no idea what the range is, but I do know I can’t tell you until tommorrow! (5 Jan 2022), pop over to studio 73 to have a look. Also the Mintay papers have been flying out the door on our website, I reckon we must be the only place with some of the range left!

Wee Waa, Wagga Wagga & Woy Woy

Well, I wasn’t going to type just wee, was I?

We are always excited here at Sensational Crafts, yesterday we got 3 parcels, one was from Tina who sent us our iCraft products again, and I reckon the iCraft wall is starting to look good, here is a pic

we have a few of the amazing ready to assemble albums, as well as some” add on elements” and “insta transfers” there is also some sort of acetate pretty flower things, you may have to pop in and ask Yvonne what they do!

We also got our shipment from Hearty Crafts in Holland. lots and lots and lots of pre-cut fun, and they run out the door, these stands were full yesterday, a few holes already, be quick, check them out on the website!

Well I better get back to designing Christmas stuff, keep tuned, and happy craftin’

Lots of Deliveries……

Well, I have given up on trying to work out what lockdown day it is, so happy Today!

Our doors have been closed, however, we still have click and collect as well as deliveries, and that is today’s topic

We still have deliveries coming to our door, some take a week to fine sunny Casino, others are here the next day, and we feel for the delivery drivers who have to work out who is open for deliveries and who isn’t.

so today we got our fill of crafts4u products including the wonderful red tape and some very nice new embossing folders.

We are also proud to be the only stockist in NSW (a the moment) of icraft kits, Yvonne spent the day putting a few together, check out our Facebook page for a few ideas!

Masks on a Wednesday

Morning all, another day and another mask if you need to go and and gather the essentials!

We have just got some longer ear savers for your masks in, well, they are printed here on our 3D printers! they are still $2 each and we can deliver them for you or let us know for click and collect, isn’t it amazing that this phrase is now common?

We are using the downtime to re-arrange the shop and set up our system that intergrates with the website. The biggest problem we have had is that the tap on the urn broke, so we have to use the little kettle again, lucky we can’t do classes it would take me hours to make the cuppas!

Day 1

Hello all, this is us again,

Just a quick check-in to keep the ball rolling , here is a picture of a Kookaburra , just to keep you entertained.

Yvonne & I have been in the shop today getting our stock counts right on our website , if there is something you can’t find on the website and need let us know, we may have not around to it yet!

Of course we know that everyone is doing the right thing and staying at home, we hope you are doing some craft!

For some inspiration for your scrapbooking, album making and card making check out the great Australian suppliers we use, Studio 73, Couture Creations, Uniquely Creative , Darkroom Door and Colour Blast, just to name a few.

Once we have got a bit further with the website we will hopefully get some classes up on here too, keep tuned

Lockdown August

Well what an interesting few weeks, Gary is “trapped” in Brisbane under lock-down rules, Yvonne has been kept company in the shop with all our amazing customers coming in, wearing masks.

There was a funny post the other day with someones grandma wanting to know where to send all the QR codes she has taken photos of….. sort of makes sense, maybe a new layout idea

Of course this particular blog is to test the facebook lings to our blog, all the experts say we should do more blogs and get our website going so we can keep going and to share Sensational Crafts with the world!

While Gary was in Brisbane a few weeks ago he picked up an order from Studio73 and had a very long chat about all thinks crafty and webby! here is one of the beautiful layouts from Hetty Hall using Studio 73 items. you amaze us all the time!

The new collection from Uniquely Creative.

It is great to see a variety with a Holden, a fighter plane and some fella stuff, I won’t spoil it too much, click on the link to look at it

Gary is in QLD with some of the Grand-kids, and has been caught up in the lock down, so I have sorted the shop a bit to fit the Individual items in and now the Kits have arrived!
